ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice] The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 28.01.2019 regarding the construction of permanent gallery for conducting Jallikattu. The grievance is that such representation has fallen on deaf ears.

The official respondents are represented by Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader.

3. The petitioner is permitted to make a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent District Collector, Madurai District, within four weeks from date whereupon the 3rd respondent will consider the matter in appropriate perspective and in accordance with law. The 3rd respondent will afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all who may get affected by such order and communicate the reasoned decision to the petitioner within six weeks of the date of receipt of the petitioner's representation.

4. W.P.(MD)No.779 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
