PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents more particularly the second Respondents not to interfere in the civil dispute of the Petitioner and harass the Petitioner, based on foisted complaint to the fourth Respondent.

The Petitioner had filed this Writ Petition seeking direction against the Respondents No.1 to 3 not to harass the Petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a summon had been served on the Petitioner and the fourth Respondent, but, both of them had not appeared before the third Respondent. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction from the Respondents No.1 to 3 submitted that based on the circular of the Director General of Police, TamilNadu (Head of State Police), the Respondents No.1 to 3 undertakes to hold appropriate enquiry. Since the third Respondent had issued summon, the Petitioner and the fourth Respondent are directed to appear before the third Respondent. As per the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh reported in (2014) 2 SSC 1, the third Respondent is directed not to summon the Petitioner or the fourth Respondent at odd hours 2/4

3. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
