O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed to direct respondents to consider the representation, dated 19.03.2018 preferred by the petitioner for providing adequate security and protection to the petitioner for conducting Thomaiyarpuram Church festival scheduled to be held from 13.04.2018 to 15.04.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation dated 19.03.2018 for providing adequate security and protection to the petitioner for conducting church festival scheduled to be held from 13.04.2018 to 15.04.2018 and no order has been passed by the respondent and hence, he has come forward with the present writ petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions would submit that there is a dispute for conducting the festival as well as the administration of the Church. He further submitted that the representation will be considered after considering the objections from the rival parties and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the aforesaid submissions of both parties and without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 19.03.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the parties concerned, on or before 12.04.2018.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
