Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection in conducting survey and demarcate the petitioner's land property comprised in Survey Nos.22/11, 22/13, 22/16, 22/2, 22/6 for a total extent of 1 Acre 25 cents situated at Vellampatti Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2025.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection in conducting

survey and demarcate the petitioner's land property comprised in Survey Nos.22/11, 22/13, 22/16, 22/2, 22/6 for a total extent of 1 Acre 25 cents situated at Vellampatti Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2025.

2.This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's claim to survey and demarcate the property. If there are any rival claimants, notice may be issued to the rival claimants and thereafter, the petitioner's claim shall be considered and the respondents shall pass orders in accordance to law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
