This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to release the monetary benefits by implementing the proceedings issued by the District Elementary Educational Officer, Pudukottai District in Na.Ka.No.3891/2017/A2 dated 23.04.2018. 2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher and posted at St.Norbert R.C.Primary School, Mathur, Pudukkottai District, in the year 2000 and his appointment was duly approved by the educational authorities. While so, the school was upgraded as middle school in the year 2006. However, the Government issued various G.Os for granting monetary benefits and increments. However, the said benefit was not granted to the petitioner. Hence, he made a representation dated 08.02.2019 to remove the pay anomaly and the same was forwarded to the Chief Educational Officer on 15.03.2019 and the said representation was not considered till date. W.P.(MD)No.307 of 2021 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2019 in accordance with law.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection.
6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not disposed of already.
7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
