PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors herein for non-complying the order of this Court passed in W.A(MD)No. 930 of 2020 dated 08.06.2021.

The contempt petition is filed stating that the order of the Division Bench passed in W.A(MD)No.930 of 2020 dated 08.06.2021 directing the contemnors to pay compensation to the contempt petitioner for the land acquired as per the Central Act 30 of 2013, not been complied. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that vide proceedings dated 21.02.2022, a compensation of a sum of Rs.6,13,73,715/- been credited in the account of the six claimants calculating the compensation as

per the Central Act 30 of 2013. The proceedings and the details of payment also furnished.

2. In the light of the compliance of the order, this contempt petition is closed. If the claimants have any grievance over the calculation of compensation, it is always open to them to make appropriate representation and get redressal.
