O R D E R

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner moved this Petition seeking direction against the Respondents not to harass the Petitioner in the guise of enquiry, by considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 03.01.2024.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the 3rd Respondent had given a complaint against the Petitioner, which was registered as C.S.R. Subsequently, the Petitioner gave a complaint against the 3rd Respondent, which was registered as Current Paper. As per the Circular of the Additional Director General of Police, Law & Order, Tamil Nadu, in C.No.18/ ADGP/ L&O/Camp/2024, dated 09.01.2024, the Field Officers through out the State were warned not entertain Complaints or register a Case, involving money dispute, land dispute, property dispute, pathway dispute, intellectual property dispute, etc. The Respondent Police had closed both the Petitions.

3. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that he is the owner of the house. He was summoned by the 2nd Respondent Police.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, if it is found to be violation of the Circular, the Superintendent of Police, Tenkasi, shall issue summon to the Petitioner and hold an enquiry, regarding the allegations levelled against the 2nd Respondent, in the light of the latest circular of the Additional Director General of Police.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
