ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to pay the dues from the panchayat to the creditors based on the representation of the petitioner dated 06.12.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the entire materials available on record.

3. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioner is the Panchayat president of Kanniseri Pudur Village Panchayat. It is claimed by the petitioner that the petitioner in 2/4

the capacity of Panchayat president had executed several works. However, due to his indifferences between the Vice President one Ms.Kavitha, she has not co-operated in signing the cheques. As a result, the respondents have not paid the dues to the Panchayat facilitating the petitioner to settle the same to the creditors.

5. However, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.Ohm Prakash, learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the term of office of the petitioner is already over on 05.01.2025.

6. Recording the said submission, the petitioner is directed not to worry about the affairs of the Panchayat and the same will be taken care of by the first respondent and other authorities. This writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 09.01.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No MGA 3/4
