ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.4, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Durgs and Psychotropic Substance Act, in Crime No.585 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners and others were packing kanja in small packets and are in possession of 2.2 kgs of kanja. Therefore, the present case came to be registered. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is A4 in the case. A1 and A2 were arrested and only based on their confession, the name of the petitioner was included in the case. A1 and A2 were already released on bail by the lower Court and prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent police submitted that totally eight accused involved in the offence. A1 and A2 were remanded and released on bail. The petitioner is having one previous case of similar in nature. The offence is serious in nature and he objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRL OP(MD). No.256 of 2022 5.Considering the previous antecedents of the petitioner and considering the nature of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
