JUDGMENT

This Second Appeal has been filed challenging the judgment dated 01.12.2010 made in A.S.No.44 of 2010 on the file of the Sub Court, Devakottai, reversing the judgment dated 01.02.2010 made in O.S.No.49 of 2008 on the file of the Additional District Munsif Court, Karaikudi. 2.Heard the learned counsel on either side. It is informed by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 4 that the fourth respondent, who had sold the property in favour of the first respondent, is no more. The respondents 2 and 3 are State.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is informed by both the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 4 that during the pendency of this Second Appeal, a Joint Memo of Compromise, dated 25.08.2025, has been filed by the petitioner and the first respondent stating that the dispute has been amicably settled between them. In the Joint Memo of Compromise dated 25.08.2025, it had been stated as under:
