This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to provide Patta to the petitioner in respect of her landed property to an extent of 3.57 cents comprised of Village Natham Survey No.126/1 situated at Door No. 4/159, Chavadi Mettutheru, Karuppayurani, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, based on his representation dated 02.09.2023

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.D.Gandhi Raj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already patta has been issued in favour of the petitioner in respect of Survey No.126/1 situated at Door No.4/159, Chavadi Mettutheru, Karuppayurani, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District.

In view of the above, this Court directs the petitioner to approach the second respondent for issuance of copy of the patta within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent is directed to issue a copy of the patta to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
