Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

2.The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct survey of the land of the petitioner which was purchased in the year 1998 and which is situated in S.No.307/20 at Keelamudukulathur Village, Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

3.The petitioner claims that he had purchased the property by way of a registered sale deed dated 09.12.1998. Thereafter, in the year 2013, the patta was mutated in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner had paid necessary fees for conducting survey on 07.07.2020.

W.P.(MD) No.223 of 2022 4.Let the petitioner file an application seeking survey of the lands and pay fees as is required as on date and on receipt of such application/fees, a direction is given to the respondents 2 and 3 to enquire into the holdings of the petitioner, enquire whether there are any objections either from the adjacent land owners or anybody else and thereafter proceed further to comply with the requirements of the application. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
