Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records pertaining to the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.35980/VI/E1/07 dated 16.12.2009 and the consequential order in Na.Ka.No.3598/V-1/E1/2007 - (2) dated 29.01.2010 on the file of the second respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to continue the Vocational Course (Accountancy and Auditing Group) at the fifth respondent Higher Secondary School for the +1 students in the present academic year and in the future. 1/3

*********** Learned Counsel for the petitioner is present. He submits that he is unable to get instructions with regard to the present status of the matter, despite having sent a letter to the petitioner. 2.The petitioner has challenged the impugned order dated 29.01.2010 passed by the second respondent rejecting the petitioner's request to continue the vocational courses [Accountancy and Auditing] at the fifth respondent Higher Secondary School for the +1 students.
3.By the lapse of 12 years, the prayer sought for in this writ petition would now have become infructuous.
4.Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
