ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the 2nd Respondent in Na.Ka.No.01/Ka.Aa/NA.Ka.Ni/Karur/2026 dated 02.01.2026 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to grant permission for conducting awareness program based upon the order of this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner has filed earlier Writ Petition for issuance of Mandamus directing the respondents not to insist the petitioner to sign in the proceedings under Section 110 of Cr.P.C. This 2/6

Court, while considering the same, has recorded that the petitioner claims himself as a social activist. Hence, directed the petitioner to conduct social awareness against cool lip(tobacco product) and submit a report. The petitioner has submitted a representation seeking permission. Through the impugned order the respondent has rejected the same stating that the petitioner cannot do agitation as the Court has permitted only for conducting awareness programme. Hence, aggrieved over the same, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. This Court, after considering the rival submissions made by both side counsel, is of the considered opinion that agitation is always a negative aspect. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to do some positive action to bring awareness among the students. The petitioner is permitted to do social awareness in any two schools by holding placards with ten members.
