PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide necessary and adequate police protection to construct the compound wall in S.No.148/2016, Kalukerkadai Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2026.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide necessary and adequate police protection to construct the compound wall in S.No.148/2016, Kalukerkadai Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2026.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner intends to construct a compound wall. However, the nearby residents objected to the construction stating that it is a discriminatory 2/5
wall intended to discriminate against SC/ST people. The petitioner submitted that the said allegation is not true. This submission is recorded.
3. In view of the above submission, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.01.2026. While considering the petitioner's representation, the third respondent shall take into consideration the proceedings of the Tahsildar dated 26.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
