Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to register the death of the petitioner's father viz., Manivel and petitioner's grandfather viz., Muthukkaruppan and issuing death certificate of the petitioner's father viz, Manivel and petitioner's grand-father viz., Muthukkaruppan based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2024 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the death of the petitioner's father viz., Manivel and petitioner's grandfather viz., Muthukkaruppan and issuing death certificate of the petitioner's father viz, Manivel and petitioner's grand-father viz., Muthukkaruppan.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and counter party, if any. 2/4

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
