RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to MODIFY the condition in Para No.8 as execution of two regular sureties instead of executing two blood sureties in Crl.OP.(MD). No.14921/2020 dated 16.12.2020 for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/Presiding Officer Special Court for E.C. and NDPS Act cases, Thanjavur. On such production, the learned Additional District Judge shall accept the surety produced by the petitioner.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.MAHESWARAN.R, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to modify the condition in paragraph 8 as execution of two regular sureties instead of executing two blood sureties in Crl.O.P(MD)No.14921/2020 dated 16.12.2020 for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/Presiding Officer.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner was granted bail on 02.12.2020, due to the condition that "on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two blood sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/Presiding Officer, Special Court for E.C and NDPS Act Cases", he is unable to enjoy the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.266 of 2021 fruits of the bail order. He further submitted that the petitioner's father is no more. He has no property also and hence he is unable to produce blood sureties.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that he has no objection to allow the petitioner to produce regular sureties.

4.Taking into consideration of the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the condition that the petitioner, instead of producing blood sureties, he is permitted to produce two regular sureties and there is no modification in rest of the conditions imposed upon the petitioner in earlier.

5.Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
