2. Heard Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader for the petitioners and Mr.S.Visvalingam, learned counsel for the respondent.
3. A perusal of the affidavit filed in support of this petition, shows that the petitioners have given sufficient reasons for the delay. However, this Court is of the view that the delay could have been avoided by the petitioner by showing due diligence.
4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to allow this petition on terms. Accordingly, this petition is allowed on condition that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) to the credit of the High Court Legal Services Committee, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, this petition shall automatically be dismissed without further reference to Court. 5.Registry is directed to number the review application, if the papers are otherwise in order, after showing proof for payment. sd/- 16/08/2022 / TRUE COPY / /08/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
