(Order of the court was delivered by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner is the daughter of the convict. The convict was sentenced to double life imprisonment. The offences for which he was convicted are not only under IPC but also POCSO Act. He murdered the mother and the victim child. It is true that the convict had so far spent more than seven years in prison. Considering his conduct, we are not inclined to exercise our discretion in his favour. 2/4
