O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents herein to disburse the monthly maintenance amount under Differently Abled Pension Scheme from the month of August 2023 to the petitioner as ordered by the 3rd respondent in his proceedings No. TN9334A20231192173 dated 29.08.2023 within a time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has applied for pension under the Differently Abled Pension Scheme to the third respondent on 17.08.2023 and the 3rd respondent approved the petitioner's application in Appln.No.TN-9320230817163 and ordered to pay monthly maintenance of Rs.1,500/- to him by an order dated 29.08.2023 in his proceedings 2/4

No.TN9334A20231192173. However, till date, the petitioner has not received the pension amount. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's request will be considered on seniority basis and pension will be released within a period of twelve (12) weeks.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader this, Court directs the third respondent to disburse the monthly maintenance amount under the Differently Abled Pension Scheme to the petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, This Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
