ORDER
The limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is that the petitioner's revision petition filed under Section 153 of the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983, has been kept pending though the revision was preferred be back on 20.06.2017. 2.This Court is of the view that the pendency of the revision petition filed under Section 153 of the said Act for more than 2 1/2 years is an inordinate delay and as such, this Court would be justified in invoking its extraordinary powers under Article 226 of Constitution of India, directing the first respondent to conclude the revision proceedings within the stipulated time. 3.In view of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner under Section 153 of the Tamilnadu Cooperative https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.1229 of 2020 Societies Act, 1983, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
