ORDER

This petition has been filed praying to call for the First Information Report in Crime No.313 of 2015, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kottar Police Station, Kanyakumari District and quash the same.

2. In this case, the petitioners have been arrayed as A1 to A5 in Crime No.313 of 2015, for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, a compromise memo, dated 2.6.2015, has been filed, signed by the parties, wherein it has been stated that the dispute has been settled amicably between the parties and the 2nd respondent is not willing to proceed with the matter. The respective parties are also present before this Court along with their respective counsels. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the said compromise memo, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the FIR pending on the file of the first respondent.

5. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the Crime No.313 of 2015, pending on the file of the first respondent, is quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
