PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue legal heir certificate of the petitioner's deceased husband on the basis of her reconsideration dated 14.11.2025.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus against the first respondent for issuance of legal heir certificate for the death of her husband, namely, Mr.Balu.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that the earlier attempt made by the petitioner was unsuccessful on the ground that the deceased Balu had two wives.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that without challenging the said order, the present writ petition is not maintainable.
4. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the 3rd respondent in the writ petition is the second wife of deceased Balu and in the present application, the children of the 3rd wife have been included, so that their names can also be incorporated in the legal heir certificate. He further submits that after issuing notice to the third respondent, the issue may be reconsidered by the first respondent.

5. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner after issuing notice to the 3rd respondent. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 12(twelve) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
