Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS calling for the records from the 1st respondent relating to the impugned notice dated 15.09.2010 of the 1st respondent in Ka.No. UmiPo/EKaa/Kuli/KooThani/A.No.135/10, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to forbear from disconnecting the electricity connection numbers 212&35 of Periyapalam distribution, Kulithalai Town under the control of the 1st respondent.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side. The learned standing counsel submits that the communication challenged in this writ petition is only in the nature of show cause notice. The petitioner has been called upon to offer his explanation. Even at this stage, the petitioner rushed to this Court. I am of the view that the writ petition is not maintainable. The petitioner ought to have given his explanation before the respondents. It appears that the dispute has been settled. The learned standing counsel states that till date the electricity connection has not been disconnected.
