PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge cum P.C.R. Court, Sivagangai to consider the petitioner bail application and dispose the bail application on the same day, if the petitioner surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge cum P.C.R. Court, Sivagangai in Crime No.232 of 2015 on the file of the respondent.

O R D E R

The petitioner approaches this Court for a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge cum P.C.R. Court, Sivagangai to consider the petitioner's bail application and dispose the same on the same day, if the petitioner surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge cum P.C.R. Court, Sivagangai in Crime No.232 of 2015 on the file of the respondent.

2. The petitioner is alleged to have committed an offences under Sections 294(b), 324, 506(ii) of I.P.C. r/w. Section 3(i)(r)(x) of SC/ST (POA) Amendment Ordinance Act. It is stated by the petitioner that he is innocent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge cum P.C.R. Court, Sivagangai to co-operate with the prosecution and his petition for bail may be ordered to be considered on the same day.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the injured has been discharged from the hospital.

5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the facts and circumstances by issuing a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge cum P.C.R. Court, Sivagangai to dispose of the petition for bail on the same day, no prejudice would be caused to the prosecution, the following direction is issued to the lower Court:- "In the event of the petitioner surrendering before the learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Principal District and Sessions Judge cum P.C.R.Court, Sivagangai and his filing of petition seeking bail, the Principal District and Sessions Judge cum P.C.R.
