: Respondents in both WPs PRAYER in WP(MD)12580/2010: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in Me.Ea.Na.Ka.95/2010, dated 28.06.2010, quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to register the documents of the petitioner with regard to the sale of the properties in S.No.180, 181/2B, 181/2C of Odaimarichan Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District. PRAYER in WP(MD)7449/2012: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to give suitable direction to the 2nd respondent to register the documents of the petitioner with regard to the sale of the properties in S.No.

180, 181/2B, 181/2C of Odaimarichan Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering his representation dated 19.04.2012. For Petitioner :Mr.K.R.Laxman For Respondents :Mr.A.Baskaran Additional Government Pleader [In both WPs] ***** C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioner before this Court proposed to purchase certain properties in S.No.180, 181/2B, 181/2C of Odaimarichan Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District and therefore, he has approached the second respondent / Sub Registrar seeking the guideline value of the said properties. The second respondent, in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

M.P(MD)No.1 of 2011 turn, has responded that the Superintendent of Police, Economic Offence Wing as well as by this Court has ordered that the said properties should not be alienated. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has moved the instant applications. 2.The communication of the Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing - II, Chennai, addressed to the second respondent / Sub Registrar in C.No.1027/SP/EOW-II/2001, dated 03.09.2001, was produced before this Court. On a perusal of the same, this Court finds that the properties proposed to the purchased by the petitioner in S.No.181/2B, 181/2C of Odaimarichan Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District, finds part and parcel in a criminal case and the Superintendent of Police, based on the order of this Court in WP.No.6879 of 1999, dated 21.04.1999, has requested the Sub Registrar not to entertain any transactions with regard to the said properties.

3.In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain these applications. Accordingly, both the writ petitions are dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
