Prayer :- Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to produce the body or person of the detenue namely Sathaiah, aged about 58 years, S/o.Kilavan, before this Honble High Court and to set him at liberty.

ORDER:- This Habeas Corpus Petition is coming on hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.

M.S.Jeyakarthik for Mr.J.John Rajadurai, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, Additional Public Prosecutor on bahalf of the respondents 1 to 3, this Court made the following order: 1/3

( Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA.J) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought for extension of time to comply the order of this Court, dated 09.01.2020, imposing a cost of Rs.15,000/-.

2.In our earlier order, we have directed the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.15,000/- for wasting the valuable and precious time of the Court. Further, we have directed petitioner to pay the said sum to the High Court Legal Services committee, attached to this Court within a period of 10 days from that day.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that the order copy was made ready on 22.02.2020 and the same was received by him on 24.02.2020. Hence, he seeks extension of time.

4.Accepting his request for extension, we also make a small modification in our earlier order, dated 09.01.2020 (Last 3 three lines of the 5th paragraph) to the effect as follows: "The said sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only) shall be paid by the petitioner to the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Harijana Seva Sangam, Madurai-20 -20. within a period of two weeks from today (25.02.2020)."
