O R D E R
The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to issue non traceable certificate for missing of original document vide document No.38 of 1994 registered on the file of Puthumandabam Sub Registrar Office, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's complaint dated 26.01.2022 and the representation dated 17.03.2022.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent for missing of his original document No.38 of 1994. He would further submit that the writ petitioner has also made paper publication with regard to the missing of original document. 2/4
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the writ petitioner may be directed to appear before the second respondent and the second respondent may be directed to follow the circular issued by the Director General of Police.
5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the writ petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and on such appearance, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and issue Non-traceable Certificate to the writ petitioner, after ensuring the said documents have not been deposited for any purpose following the circular issued by the Director General of Police.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
