ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 342, 324, 323 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.466 of 2014 and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to wordy quarrel, the accused persons restrained the defacto complainant while he was coming by motor cycle as pillion rider and pulled him down and severely attacked him with knife thereby caused injuries and further threatened him with dire consequences.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side)submitted that the injured had already been discharged from hospital.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the State and also perused the entire materials available on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate,Boothapandi, Kanyakumari District, and on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.

7. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
