ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an aggrieved person on account of an error in the UDR records relating to the subject property, which requires rectification by the competent authority. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 11.09.2024 to the second respondent seeking rectification of the said error in the UDR records in accordance with law. Despite the receipt of the said representation, the second respondent has not considered or disposed of the same within a reasonable time. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered

on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2024, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
