ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of 1/4

Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to renew the petitioner's tourist guide license cum identity card bearing number 536/2014 by considering the petitioner's application dated 04.11.2023 and representation dated 06.11.2023.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice if the petitioner's application dated 04.11.2023 as well as representation dated 06.11.2023 are directed to be considered and disposed of by the 2nd respondent within a time frame. 3.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner during his tourist guide duty, used to shout at the officers and in this regard six complaints are lodged against the petitioner and therefore, the respondents are not in a position to renew the petitioner's tourist guide license cum identity card.

Recording the above submissions and without 2/4

expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 04.11.2023 as well as representation dated 06.11.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law either accepting or rejecting the request of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
