ORDER
Heard both sides.
2.Because of the efflux of time, I am not interfering with the impugned order. The petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste community. The learned Government Advocate informs the Court that TAHDCO is having schemes to promote entrepreneurship. The petitioner is permitted to approach TAHDCO for sponsoring his project. As and when such application is filed by the petitioner, the first respondent will endeavor to 2/4
accommodate the petitioner under any one of the existing schemes. It shall forward the same as expeditiously as possible after the receipt of application from the petitioner to the second respondent / Canara Bank. While considering the application of the petitioner, Canara Bank will associate the petitioner. In other words, whatever doubts or queries which the Bank officials may entertain, they shall be put to the petitioner for appropriate clarification. Of course, final call will have to be taken only by the Bank. But then an adverse decision cannot be taken behind the petitioner's back. The Bank shall take a call in the matter within eight weeks after the receipt of application from TAHDCO. 3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
