ORDER
A reading of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P (MD) No.20552 of 2022 shows that the petitioner's counsel has given an undertaking to vacate the premises within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Considering the said undertaking, the respondent police was directed to provide police protection to him against forceful eviction and the petitioner was directed to vacate the premises within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order i.e 23.11.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the report of the Village Administrative Officer, Piratiyur East Village, Tiruchy in which it is stated that the petitioner is not residing in that house and he has vacated the premises.
3. In view of the said submission, this Contempt Petition is closed.
