ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the impugned charge sheet in CC.No.32 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Musiri as against the petitioners.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that out of eight witnesses, five witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution and only Investigation Officer remains to be examined.

3. Since the trial has already commenced and out of eight witnesses, five witnesses have been examined, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.32 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Musiri, at this stage.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to raise all their defences before the concerned trial Court. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 16.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Indu 2/4
