ORDER

This petition has been filed to withdraw the investigation from the 1st respondent and entrust the same to an officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of police with a direction to enquire the case and transfer the same.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that already the case in crime No.182 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vadipatti Police Station, Madurai District has been closed as Action Dropped.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, since the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
