PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.203 of 2019 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner is in custody since 25.11.2019, for the offences under Sections 120(b) and 302 of I.P.C., in Crime No.203 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police. Hence, he seeks bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) points out that the petitioner is having a number of previous cases to his credit. In fact on the file of Paramakudi Town Police Station as many as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.996 of 2020 nine cases have been registered against him. The petitioner appears to have committed the crime for money. The deceased is none other the husband of A2. A2 had enlisted the services of the petitioner for carrying out the murder. The petitioner appears to be a mercenary. Since the petitioner had committed the crime for monetary consideration, I am not inclined to grant any relief. The criminal original petition stands dismissed.
