Athipatti Theni District. ... Respondents Prayer :- This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to extend the time for complying the order granted by this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD) No.9916 of 2020 dated 17/09/2020 for surrendering the petitioners in pursuance of the order of this Court and thus render justice.

ORDER:- This petition is coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.Ramsundar Vijayaraj, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.R.Erottusamy Government Advocate for the 1st and 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order: This Court, by its order dated 17.09.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.9916 of 2020 directed the petitioners to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act cases, Theni, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were not in a position to surrender before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court and seeks further time to surrender.

3. Considering the request made by the petitioners, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act cases, Theni, within fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading this order, failing which, the order passed by this Court, shall stand automatically cancelled, without further reference to this Court.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
