This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the third and fourth respondent herein to take appropriate steps for registering a crime as per section 83 of the Registration Act 1908 and proceed in the manner known to law as ordered by the third respondent in his proceedings dated 23.09.2020 bearing No. 297/A2/2020 as expeditiously as possible by considering petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2020.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there were subsequent developments in this case and already an order was passed by the District Registrar and the same was challenged by way of an appeal before the Inspector General of Registration and review was filed by the petitioner and the same is pending.

3.In the light of the above, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. It is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the pending proceedings and proceed further in accordance with law. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
