O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the proceedings in P.R.C.No.27 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Ramanathapuram.

2. The defacto complainant Seeni is present in person before this Court through video conference. He has been duly identified by Thiru.L.Ananth, HC 1353 attached to Devipattinam Police Station, Ramanathapuram. The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that he has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned proceedings alive. The parties have also filed a joint compromise memo. The impugned proceedings are quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.(*)The Proceedings before the court below are quashed in toto and the benefit of this order will ensure in favour of the nonpetitioning accused also.
