O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to direct the second respondent to survey the petitioner's property comprised in Patta No.9312, Survey No.109/11A, measuring an extent of 1.54 Ares, situated at Kayalpattinam Village, Thiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District, with police protection to be provided by the third respondent, by considering the petitioner's Application bearing No.2025/N123/28/007197 dated 08.12.2025.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Page No. 2 of 5

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been made for the demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 08.12.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and Page No. 3 of 5

other interested parties, if any. If required, police assistance may be obtained.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
