[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
2.The Prayer in the Writ Petition reads as follows:- "To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to sanction and award forthwith Selection Grade and Special Grade to the petitioner in the post of Primary School Headmaster by reckoning and computing the petitioner's service rendered in the cadres of Secondary Grade Teacher (16.06.1978 to 14.10.1988) and Primary School Headmaster (from 15.10.1988 onwards)." 3.The very same question as to the entitlement of Selection Grade and Special Grade to Primary School Headmasters by taking into account the service rendered by them as Secondary Grade Teachers was considered by the Hon'ble Full Bench of this Court and it was held that those persons, who have approached Court prior to 09.12.2016, would be entitled to the benefits. This Writ Petition has been filed in the year 2010 itself.
4.In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Full Bench of this Court, the Writ Petition stands allowed and the petitioner will be entitled to the benefits as awarded by the Hon'ble Full Bench. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
