PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or direction in the nature of writ directing the Respondent No.2 to disburse the award amount for the land in survey No.184/1A with extend about 17 square meter situated at Thirupparankundram, Madurai which was acquired by the Highway department for laying service road while constructing railway crossing over bridge in Thirupparankundram by considering his explanation dated 30.12.2010. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to disburse the award amount for the land situated at Thirupparankundram, Madurai, which was acquired by the Highways Department for laying service road, while constructing railway crossing over bridge in Thirupparankundram by considering the petitioner's representation / explanation dated 30.12.2010.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 10.10.2023, it was informed on the side of the respondents that the compensation amount 2/4

has already been disbursed to the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought for sometime to take instructions in this regard.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the compensation amount has been received by the petitioner.

4. Recording the above, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. 12.10.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No SM 3/4
