The present petition is filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.50 of 2020 of Pechiparai Police Station, Kanyakumari District.

2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No.50 of 2020 of Pechiparai Police Station, Kanyakumari District was already concluded treating the case as 'mistake of fact' and the notice issued to the second respondent / defacto complainant was also served.
