ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offences punishable under Sections 9 of Child Marriage Restriction Act, 2006, Sec. 4 of Women Harassment Act, Sections.3 and 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and 406, 420 of IPC in Crime No.11 of 2015, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner who married the daughter of de facto complainant is alleged to have harassed his wife with an intoxicated mood.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the co-accused were already released on bail.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the co-accused have already released on bail, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Karur and on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police twice a day daily at 10.00 am 5.00 pm until further orders. 6.
