This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the proceedings pending in Na.Ka. A2/4119/2020 dated 16.10.2020 and pass appropriate orders granting patta in favour of the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property absolutely belongs to the grandfather of the petitioner and originally there was a large extent of land and after a portion of it was acquired by the Government, the remaining portion measuring an extent of 8 cents was remaining. Left with no other option, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction
to the second respondent to dispose of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A2/4119/2020 dated 16.10.2020 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
