JUDGMENT

This second appeal has been filed against the judgment and decree passed by the Principal Subordinate Judge, Madurai, in A.S.No.49 of 2002, dated 03.12.2003, confirming the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.211 of 1998 dated 12.12.2000, passed by the District Munsif, Madurai.

2. Today (i.e.,26.11.2024), when the matter came up for hearing, there is no representation for the appellants. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the sole respondent died on 25.03.2024 and steps have not been taken within the period of limitation as stipulated.

3. In view of the above, this second appeal is dismissed as abated. No costs.
