RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT (in both the petitions) Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to MODIFY the condition as to execute common surety for petitioners instead of to execute each with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or to the police officer, who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the Learned Magistrate concerned imposed in CRL OP(MD) No.15284 of 2020 on 21.12.2020. Prayer in CRL MP(MD). 257/ 2021 :

Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to EXTEND the time for two weeks period for surrender and producing sureties before the Additional Mahila Court,Madurai in Crime No. 17 of 2020 in Crl.OP.No.15284 of 2020 on 21.12.2020. Order : These petitions coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petitions filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.SATHISH KUMAR.K., Advocate for the petitioners in both the petitions and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate (Criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent in both the petitions, the Court made the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ These petitions have been filed to modify the condition and to 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.242 of 2021 extend the time granted in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15284 of 2020. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) for the respondent. 3.Considering the reasons stated in the petitions, these petitions are ordered and the petitioner shall execute single surety for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent Police or to the Police Officer, who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled.

4.Accordingly, these Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are allowed.
