[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] The impugned notice dated 23.12.2025, issued by the Tahsildar, does not appear to be vitiated by any infirmity. A portion measuring 0.00.63 square meter has been identified as encroachment and accordingly, the impugned notice has been issued to the petitioner, under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, to show cause as to why the encroachment made by him in the subject land should not be removed. If the petitioner is in anyway aggrieved with regard to the measurement of the land and other things, he has to work out his remedy before the authority concerned in accordance with law and the writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is not maintainable.
2. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. [G.J., J.] [K.K.R.K., J.] 08.01.2026 NCC :
