PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of Certiorari, calling for the records and quash the order of the second respondent in Na.Ka.Vu.Po.3/38560/2008, dated 14.03.2010 insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

Prayer in WP(MD). 6072/ 2010 to 6077, WP(MD)9443 & 9444/2010 Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARI calling for the records and quash the order of 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.Vu.Po.3/38560/2008, dated 14.3.2010 in so far as petitioner concerned.

2.No representation for the petitioners in WP(MD)Nos.6071 to 6077 of 2010. Mr.Saravanakumar, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners in W.P(MD)No.9443 and 9444 of 2010, submits that the petitioners were having licence for kerosene vending and the second respondent vide impugned orders have cancelled the said licence for kerosene vending. Aggrieved over the same, these petitions are filed.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that earlier the licence for vending kerosene was given and subsequently, the Government has taken a policy decision not to grant licence for the same. Moreover, these writ petitions were filed in the year 2010.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader that in view of the policy decision of the Government, now no licence for vending kerosene is granted, these writ petitions are dismissed as no further order is required to be passed. No costs. 2/3
