2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons were found in illegal possession of 21 kgs of ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is innocent and not committed any offence, as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner is suffering from kidney disease and also undergone Renal Kidney Transplantation. Hence, prays to release him on anticipatory bail.

No.583 of 2023 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender and is having 5 previous cases to his credit, in which, two cases are registered under NDPS offence, other three cases are registered under IPC offences. Hence, prayed to dismiss the petition.

5.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 6.Considering the nature of the case and the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
